Terms & Conditions
Last updated 31 October 2026
These terms apply when you use this website, apply for a loan or use the client portal. "We", "us" and "our" mean Mapompo Cash Solutions, a registered credit provider (NCRCP[NCR number – to confirm]), [physical address – to confirm]. "You" means the person applying or using the site.
1. Applying for a loan
- You must be 18 or older, have a valid South African ID and a regular income, and give true and complete information.
- Applying does not mean you will get a loan. Every application is assessed, including an affordability assessment and a credit check, as the National Credit Act (NCA) requires. We may decline an application, or approve a smaller amount.
- If we approve your application, we give you a pre-agreement statement and quote, and a credit agreement setting out the amount, interest, fees, total repayable and due date. The loan is only made once you have accepted the agreement.
- Giving false information or documents is an offence, and we may report it.
2. Cost of credit
- Loans are short-term credit of up to R8 000 for up to 30 days.
- The cost is made up of interest, an initiation fee and a monthly service fee. These are never more than the maximums set in the regulations to the NCA. The calculator on this site is an estimate only; your quote and agreement show the exact amounts.
- If you pay late, default interest and collection costs may be charged, only as the NCA allows.
3. Payout and repayment
- Approved loans are paid out to you, usually on the same day in Rustenburg. The payout date and your due date show in your client portal.
- You repay the total amount by the due date, by the method in your agreement, using your loan reference. You may pay early or settle at any time without a penalty, and you then pay only the costs up to the settlement date as the NCA sets out.
- If you are struggling to repay, please call us before your due date so we can discuss options. You also have the right to apply to a debt counsellor.
4. Cancellation
- You may withdraw your application at any time before the loan is paid out, at no cost, by calling us.
- Where the law gives you a cooling-off right, you may cancel within that period by repaying the amount paid out, and only the costs the law allows.
- Refunds: if you pay more than you owe, we refund the extra to your bank account within 7 business days of finding it.
5. Your client portal
- Keep your password private. You are responsible for what happens under your login. Tell us straight away if you think someone else has used it.
- The portal shows your balance and status as recorded by us. If something looks wrong, contact us; payments can take a day or two to show.
6. Your rights and complaints
You have rights under the NCA, including the right to receive information in plain language, to get a copy of your agreement, to be told why an application was declined, and to complain. Please contact us first on 063 972 7256. If we can't resolve your complaint, you can contact the National Credit Regulator (www.ncr.org.za, 0860 627 627) or the Credit Ombud (www.creditombud.org.za).
7. The website
- We try to keep this site accurate and available, but it may sometimes be offline for maintenance.
- Nothing on this site is financial advice. Borrow only what you can afford to repay.
8. General
South African law applies. If any part of these terms is invalid, the rest still applies. We may update these terms; the version on this page applies to new applications. For anything not covered here, your credit agreement applies.
